Hi Drumbeat.
I graduated BSPT in the Philippines and is now reviewing for the PCE exam. I have completed my credentialling with the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapist in Canada. I believe that the accredditation process for International Graduates is similar throughout Canada as no matter which province you are in the country, you start the credentialling process and application through the CAP. They will determine if you are qualified to take the PCE or if you have deficiencies in your credentials. Based on my experience, I only had to take a couple of courses/subjects that tackles the Canadian health system, issues and policies. That took me about six months to finish through the PLAR program that I took through Thompson Rivers Open Learning while working at the same time. The CAP will give you a list of school/options how to bridge your gap through the PLAR program - and depending on what you choose, the length of completion will vary.
