am just answering, since no-one else does..... :-)
The TTMA gives a person with registration and fitness to practice in one country (e.g. NZ) the opportunity to apply for registration in the other country (e.g. Australia) without submitting any other evidence.
So, I understand that you do not need to have ever worked in NZ, but must hold a NZ Annual Practicing Certificate. But I am not 100% sure about this.
There is generally no "Australian" registration as such. Every Australian state has got their own registration board.
May I recommend for you to contact the board of the state you would like to work in or check out their registration requirements (which you will find on their websites).
