Just wondering if you applied for a visa first prior to gaining the reg? Do I need to in order to prove I am def coming to NZ??

i didn't and still haven't applied for a visa, it justs asks for your anticapted arrival in NZ. I was waiting until the reg was finalised and when i have a job offer then i will apply for a visa
