Hi Katie,
just seen your post on joining the forum today, I am in a similar situation and just started applying for my registration, did you manage to get yours in the end? What did you do about the neuro and resp components?
jo
Hi, I am a uk physio with 17 years physio experience. This seems to be counting against me. I am specialised in m/s though have done some c/v & neuro along the way. Have done no specific courses in these areas.
The board is asking for more evidence of competence, does anyone have any ideas.
This process has taken nearly 2 years now and I know I am a good physio, have a job offer and just can't get past the next hurdle!! Help please!!

Hi, Wondering how you both got on as I am starting my application and haven't worked in neuro or resp for well over 10 years. I have done a basic Bobath course this year and am busy writing all my reflective statements etc for areas that I have plenty of experience in but keep worrying it may all be a waste of time!
Hi, just wondering if you guys have got any further with the registration for NZ. I know it sounds geeky but if we all have experience in different environments it may be work with creating a little group and sharing ideas. Ive been qualified 1 1/2 and have rotated through MSK, RESP, Elderly and Medical. I have bits of evidence. As a more mature junior (30) I'm hoping to get to NZ quickly as my wife has a job.
Just a though my email is [email protected] if you are interested?
Cheers
