registration from 3yr degree/no experience post grad

Hi

Can someone please help me

I have completed a 3 yr degree from the UK and want to register for NZ, but don't have any post grad experience althought I am starting a new job next week until January. SHould I carry on with the job until I've done 1 year or any possibilities of applying now? I really want to get the registration done by January/February.
