Questions CPD and personal statement as part of NZ reg- anoybody recently got NZ registration?

Advertise your physiotherapy job on Physiobob's Job
    Hi all
just a few quick questions if anybody has recently been registered in New Zealand.
    - What type of things did you put into the personal statement?
    - when adding items under the list of CPD in the curriculum vitae, is there a need to then provide copies of all of the certificates for these? for example, inservices, etc? Or is it sufficient just to include those copies which you are counting as supporting evidence in the competencies section?

    Really appreciate any help!

    1) I just put what I would have put if I was applying for a rotational job - things I've done and my experiences covering the areas of physiotherapy that the competencies cover.

    2) Sorry I don't remember this part! You would probably use in services etc for evidence anyway right, so you would have a copy in there anyway which you can reference as an appendix.

    Hi everyone,
just wondering how many words you have been writing on the personal statement part of the c.v. I feel like because its so broad you could write hundreds or words and i wasn't sure what would be the most sensible 100, 200, 300??
    Thanks,
    Mel

If you are serious about working and moving to New Zealand, I can assist you with your registration process, as well as immigration. We are looking for a physio for a Wellington clinic we are about to open. We presently have a clinic in the Bay of Plenty, and are expanding to Wellington. You could train in the Bay clinic, and then move to Wellington when we open. Both places are special in their own ways. The BOP is beautiful, especially the beach at Mt. Maunganui, which is just across the bridge. Wellington is the cultured capital, "the coolest little capital" according to Lonely Planet. If all you need is a little help getting registered and settled with immigration, then I am happy to assist, but only for those serious about moving here. There are various immigration schemes available, depending on your age, however, registration with the physiotherapy board is a must. If you have graduated from a UK or Canada school, finishing your registration in New Zealand is basically a formality. Regards, Dan
