Hello Sonia,
I am a Physiotherapist from India with 4 years work experience.
I am getting my portfolio ready for the NZ registration.
I want some help with few of the competencies, is there any chances of getting a copy of the portfolio of anyone who has done the registration?
That would be of great help.
Looking forward to help from anyone who has got their registration done!!
Regards,
-JOSE
It is so frustrating to read how some people are requesting a copy/sample of a portfolio. I have send off my NZ documents 3 weeks ago - after 1 year of dedicating all my energy into it aswell as running a private practice at the same time. Do u think that anyone will give u a copy after all the hard work that they have put into it???Be REALISTIC, would u do it?:mad
A good punch to lazy fellows there's a saying as "don't give fish to the poor teach him to catch a fish"
I think you are such a person
Hi sonia
I am planning to apply for NZ registration. Can you help me how to write a portfolio. I am quite confused. Thanx
Ruchi
Hi
MGWhitson, as a fellow Saffir, working in the UK also sending in NZ reg, I think in fairness all people want is an idea of how the portfolio is laid out. No-one in these forums knows exactly, as everyone I have come across is different so don't be too harsh.
By the way, do you know if you have to work in NZ before registering in OZ to work there? I have heard conflicting info regarding this. I eventually wish to settle in OZ, but am not interested in going their expensive route, so am going for the NZ/OZ route via the trans Tasman agreement.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Hi
yes, I have even heard about the same thing that you may/may not have to work in NZ before you can apply for OZ registration. But I am not sure about that. I am also searching for the same query. I am also interseted in working in OZ thru T.T.M.R. route. But if Iwill get any information, I will definitely pass it you.
Thanx
Ruchi

Hi Physiomitch,
My wife and I are looking to move to New Zealand. She is a qualified Physiotherapist working in South Africa, where she also studied. We are just a bit confused about the process. Does she have to register with the Physio Board and then do a visa application once she receives board approval? But in the Board application they want proof of your visa application.
We are just confused about this process. Can anyone help with this?
