Have you experience of using Medpro or ANN to work in the US?

Are there any UK trained physios who have used Australia Nursing Network or Medpro to gain registration and work in the US?

They are willing to sort out all of the paperwork and pay for the costs but with the commitment of a 3 year contract and if that is broken i would have to pay $33,000!

Has anyone gone through the same or similar process? Id really appreciate any experiences physios have had.

    Thanks James

Advertise your physiotherapy job on Physiobob's Job
    Hi James,
I am a UK tained physio also wanting to move to the US, and like yourself was looking for anyone who has had a similar experience with them, preferably from the uk.
From what I know, they havent recruited any UK physio's as of yet and this is something they have started recently. Many of their recruits have been from india and the phillipines.
Although their benefits are reasonable i.e they pay for the credentialing, H1b visa, however the cost of breaching the contract $33, 000 appears quite harsh. I understand they are paying most of the fees, however the average cost of breaching the contract according to PT sponsor is approx $3,000-$5000 with agencies offering similar benefits.
'3 year contract'??? Its difficult to find reviews of peoples experinces with them for that amount of time, which is slightly concerning.
Let me know how it goes, but compare other recruiting agencies with them.
