looking for out patients work in the US

I'm a canadian born, British trained PT. . Was working for 7 months private practice in Canada and now have been working in a UK hospital outpatients dept since december. Am in the final stages of fccpt accreditation and should be writing the exam in a couple of months. Am interested in moving to the US and wondering where the opportunites lie. Looking forward to hearing from someone with some info. Thanks in advance.

Hi Mike. I live in CA, in the San Francisco bay area. There are a lot of opportunities out here, but I am not sure if you will need a work visa or not. I think if you are a Canadian citizen, you can get a visa waiver of some sort. Will you be getting a CA license once you are accredited by FCCPT? Good luck.

I'm done with my TSE and TOEFL. I also passed my NPTE in USA and already acquired my PT permanent License number in the jurisdiction of Michigan.
