Every state in US , has a Physical therapy Board or committee
which is responsible for Licensing Physical Therapists to practise
in their respective states. They have they have their own choice of
credentials evaluation procedures. Some make their own & some get the
services of agencies like FCCPT.So,normally , you should make up your
mind about the state, where you are willing to work & start applying for
license with that state's Physical therapy Board, and fullfil their requirements
mentioned in the application form.you can also ask them for the required
general education credits needed to qualify. If FCCPT is one of the agencies
authorised by the PT Board of that state , then you may have to request
FCCPT to do the evaluation specific for that state & ask them to forward their
copy to that . But when you applied for FCCPT evaluation you must have made
the choice about this.
