    Salaries in Oz

Advertise your physiotherapy job on Physiobob's Job
    Hi

Can anyone give me an idea as to the salary for a 16 year qualified Physiotherapist who has been in private practice for 15 yrs? I am trying to get an idea as to what sort of budget I will be playing with RE housing, lifestyle, cost of living etc. Would be grateful for any replies.

    Thanks

I believe with 15 years of experience physio should ask for percentage. The percentage rates are variable between 40 to 50 percent. The normal charges of physiotherapy in a busy musculoskeletal private practices are somewhere around 50 to 60 dollars for a standard 15 min. consultation. Salaries on the other hand are also variable. Depend on the type of registration. If you have a temporary registration you will get a job as a grade one physio. Salary for grade one physio would be 55k per anum including super and tax. with full registration and 2 or 3 years Australian experience the physio can ask for 75000 to 100000 dollars

Cost of living is high. Not much saving but the quality of life is much better.

    Regards

    Irfan
