    Hi!
I'm looking for information about the Physio course in Sweden and what happens after you graduate. In England we have 2 yrs of Junior Rotation to follow, is this the same in Sweden? Also, has anyone come across a good Swedish/English physio dictionary?
    Thanks for your help!
    Regards & Tack!

    re: sweden

    Hi
My name is Allan and I am an Australian physiotherapist who is going through the process of registration in Sweden. I think it is a little easier for thoughs educated in a EU coutry to register in Sweden. I think for though in the EU, you can obtain registration without knowing the language but the language is needed to get a job.

As for the education difference, it is a three year degree in Sweden, 4 years in Australia and think it is the same in UK. If you educate in Sweden i think it is hard to register in Uk, australia, canada ......... but easy to register in other nordic countries.
    interesting web sites

    re: sweden

    Dear Carina,
There are no junior rotations in Sweden and upon graduation you work within the speciality that you can find a job. As a UK trained PT you'll have no problems to register to work in Sweden, although it is essential to be fluent in Swedish. Log onto 'www.sos.se' for more info on registration in Sweden.
