I want to work in the Caribbean

I am a physical therapist from Alberta, Canada, who wants to find work in the Carribean. I would like to know what licensing requirements exist in different countries there. Does anyone know the contact information for different professional associations there, or anywhere else jobs may be posted? My fiancee is an OT and so I am seeking the same information as it applies to her profession.Please reply if you have any of this information. Thank you!

I am UK physiotherapist working in St Lucia. At present we do not have any form of registration however, to work here you need to have a work permit which can be expensive and hard to obtain. The best route is to find a job first.

Hi,

I am a new Junior, applying for HPC and CSP now.

I am very keen/interested in working in the Caribbean (Trinidad, Grenada or Barbados).

Do you know if these countries require any registration?

Would it be likely that these countries or others in the Caribbean would offer a junior a job?

Is it worth talking to the Embassies to find out more? or go find contacts direct in the Islands?
