    Question PNF for kyphosis

    Taping
I am currently treating a client with kyphosis with deep tissue massage and a couple of PNF exercises for the rhomboids and pecs. Can anybody suggest any others that would be beneficial?

    Re: PNF for kyphosis

    Must have Kinesiology Taping DVD
First of all the kyphosis u mentioned, what specific form is???
Osteoporotic kyphosis??Ankylosing spondilitis kyphosis??Scheuerman disease kyphosis?? or just a result of bad posture???? i think that each of the above need its own unique management!! But in the end PNF exercises are just perfect!!! they suit in a large aspect of pathologic conditions....Just rely on them dude and i recommend u to apply some extra exercises for flexibility (if u are not already use them)
P.S. a couple of advise: Massage is just waste of time, i never use it in my own practice because i think its a low-value means of treatment....The so called benefits from a massage session can easily be accomplished and MAINTAINED through active interventions (especially if u suggest your patient self-treatment methods via exercises in home or posture correcting)
