Hi

Does anyone know of a valid tool for measuring pre and post exercise mood and wellbeing in mental health patients? We've been using a questionnaire that was developed by our senior some years ago but after reviewing it we feel it lacks reliability and is difficult for acutely mentally ill patients to interpret correctly.

Most of the research I've found so far uses quality of life or hospital depression questionnaires neither of which are exercise specific. I did find a related thread on iCSP about 18mths ago, but it was in its infancy so didn't have many responses and when I rechecked last month I could no longer find the thread.

Any help would be much appreciated.
