Hi
Well to some part all of you are correct but well i am running my own practice in kolkata fro the last one year and you know wht i feel there is huge potential i mean the problem is with the recognition so why don we all go out there and try fetching it i mean...
initial days of practice i used to get 40% patients who were referred and they din know shit abut physical therapy i just took time to explain at times i used to even put water drops on the Us head to show them how it works show them MtrP charts to show how Mtrp helpsbut after 8 months guess what my patients teach my new patients i sometimes feel so proud they way my patients tell the new ones how its important and how physical therapy helps so all in a nut shell keep working and you do get rewards
It takes 5 years for peeps to know you exsist so give it that time and see and nothing comes easy...
to end with i was in a conference with the Governor and he said " PHYSIOTHERAPY IS A PROFESSION WHICH INVOLVES PROFESSIONALS WHO JUST DON PRESCRIBE AND LEAVE BUT CREATE AND PATERNIZE A BETTER LIFE STYLE BY CREATING A BOND WITH THE PATIENT ITS NOT LIKE OTHER PROFESSIONS WHERE THE DOC STAYS INERT "
