I am new to the UK with over a year of experience with rehab work abroad. I've been looking for a position for several weeks now but have been told that physio positions almost always require UK experience. I was advised to look for physio assistant roles to start with, but I was told they almost always go to new graduates or they also require UK experience. I've been looking for almost a month now with not much luck. Can anybody give me tips to help me land my first job here? Maybe volunteering ideas to gain UK experience? Would it benefit me me to work as a carer or health care assistant? I just want to start working!
Any help will be much appreciated.

The first thing to do is get full, not provisional, registration with the HPC. If you have that then list as a candidate on Physiobob.com's candidate page and the recruiters and private employers will also come and find you for a job.
