    Well, it's just an idea at this point. But I think I could make a sensor that would fit on/around a joint that can monitor its motion and be easy to wear. Given this, I believe this would allow it to track (continuously) the motion of the joint to know the ROM, gait speed, TUG, etc. as well as compliance. I would have thought that this would be great feedback and data for PTs to understand how recovery is going between visits. Saves time (data available already) and helps understand more on what's going on (do they limp or have limited ROM after short distance walks, etc.)

    I agree with you. The patients I've asked have been very positive on the idea. They want to know feedback on how they are doing between PT and get feedback if they doing things right. Humans are naturally lazy so reminders on compliance and exercise are also considered useful. So my thought was would PTs also find it useful.
