Hi all!

Having done my undergrad from India I completely agree that we DO need a regulatory body for the physios in India!
I did face initial hurdles during my postgrad overseas and hence the following suggestions:

1)IT IS A MUST that we get the undergrad course standardised thru'out India. We surely need to get the curriculum looked into!

2)ALSO we need to have a COMPULSORY junior rotatory physio posting for 2 yrs. after graduation before we can step into the specialised field (eg. Senior post), something in line with the UK hierarchy system. This would give a newly qualified physio every opportunity to explore all the major fields in physio before they could choose 'one' to specialise their practice in. This wud enable them to get a complete outlook/picture and have a better understanding of a 'condition' which sometimes can go unnoticed as a differential diagnosis. Afterall, all systems in the body are interconnected!

I appreciate your initiative; kindly let me know how I can contribute.

Regards
