Dont get me wrong but you dont make a lot of sence in what you asking.
What is the condition of your patient?
Muscle spam could be handle with some heat either heat pack or electrotherapy then stretch. Go till the tissue tightens up and is comfortable for the patient do not force it. if it get in spasm back off a little and reset and reapply the stretch. Have you seen any results after stretching. What other hands on tools do you know.
Static you mean isometric? if you apply isometric to the already shorten muscle you getting nowere. You will need to relax the short and in spasm muscles and strengthen the weak or stretched muscles.
    Hope that helped

Perfectly correct!!! tight muscles mean apply some heat therapy to relax the tightened muscles and decrease muscle spasm. apply gentle stretch till limit of pain and hold for 2-3 mins. Isometric contraction means static contraction of both muscle groups, it won`t help! you better strengthen the already relaxed muscle group, i.e the muscle group which is not tight! DIAGNOSIS - MUSCLE CONTRACTURE!

    I will disagree with:
The stretch thinking. Pain = problem and no good handling. Has to stop were compesation takes place and or were tissue barrier is felt.
Diagnosis: Cant be make via internet requires SOAP approach you maybe right but you maybe wrong
