    How often can i do trigger point therapy?

    Must have Kinesiology Taping DVD
    Hey guyz,
    I have been having some trigger points all over my body....on hips, thighs, stomach, back, shoulders etc.... Everyday i work on them....Just recently i visited a massage therapist and he advised that trigger point therapy should not be performed everyday esp on the trigger points in the stomach..... Is it true? Can someone plzzz advise me on this? How often would be a gud? Please help me out here? I have miserable pain everwhere in my body....Your comments are very valuable

    Hai Andy,

    Dont get trigger release for all the muscles in a day sometimes it will sore your muscles and it will cause more pain

    if you have triggers in all your muscles do swimming for a week and gradually go with trigger point release

    you can release the node by urself if it is reachable

    Identify the node, compress it for 45 sec firmly and then release it (ischemic compression) do it 7 - 10 times in a set

    Do include stretching,icing, METs for the involved muscles

    Search Trigger Points in google and u can easily locate the trigger points

    hey ...thanks a lot my friend..
    But can i work on the same trigger point everyday? For example...i have a trigger point in rectus abdominus muscle. Can i work on this trigger point everyday until it is completely released?? Thanks Mate. Look forward for your response..
    N how will swimming help here? will it loosen up the muscle?? Just curious....
