    Facial muscle problem

    Hello,
Now I am 32 years, 10 years back a pimple like substance suddenly arrived on my right cheek.
I used an anti pimple cream on that and the thing disappeared within few days but left a lump
or tumor like thing under the skin. Cheek skin is clear but the under skin lump make us
alarmed. Took homeopathy medicine for some days but no such improvement. Suddenly
after some days the tumor like thing got infected and gone red , warm. The entire right side
of my face including right cheek is under heavy swelling and puffiness. Left side of the face
was unharmed. Consulted allopath doctor and took antibiotics for that and doc said the tumor
like thing is actually a sebaceous cyst which got infected and tuned to cellulites.
After taking the antibiotic infection was gone but left a deformed facial appearance on the
right side of my face. A permanent droopy facial puffiness with droopy eyelid, right side of the lips
also droopy and puffy. With that a dry, lifeless, dull looking facial appearance. Lack of facial expression
and facial Skin is pale or darkish. The sebaceous cyst is still now here under the skin of my right cheek.
After that consulted with so many docs and done so many things (like facial excercise, massage etc) but
no such improvement. One homeopath doctor suggested me that the sebaceous cyst may be the culprit
for the Lifeless dull look and dryness because the sebum which moist the skin is unavailable for that
sebaceous cyst the cyst must be broken or removed to restore the normal flow of sebum.
Other few doctors (mainly allopathic) suggested me to consult a Neurologist . They predicted
That due to the previous facial infection or cellulites the facial nerve has been injured which is
The root of the deformed facial appearance.
Consulted to a local neurologist and he suggested for facial exercise. Previously I have faced
Some difficulty to move my right facial muscle now it’s near to normal but the main problems
(A permanent droopy facial puffiness with droopy eyelid and dry, lifeless, dull looking facial
appearance, Lack of facial expression ) are not so improved. From the right side my face looks
like very unhealthy and old. Looks like there is a fluid retention. Left side of my face is quite
    normal and healthy.
    Need some suggestions.

    Re: Facial muscle problem

Just wondering if you have numbness or reduced sensation on the affected skin? And any skin changes elsewhere, or only the right cheek?
Have you had Hansen's disease ruled out? It is a bacterial infection that is easily treated with specific antibiotics. It can change skin colour and cause dry skin and facial nerve paralysis. It sometimes causes lumps under the skin (but they usually don't last 10 years), or other unusual symptoms.

Thanks anne.tlm for your views. No it's not Hansen's disease (Leprosy) because I have full sensation of the skin in the right cheek.
I have got some opinions that it's actually Bell's Palsy or facial nerve injury. It has been occurred due to that infected sebaceous cyst or cellulitis.
