wedge for medial joint space reduction in knee

hello friends is there any reseach on role of medial wedge in osteoaritic medial joint space reduction in knee?which type of wedge should be used in early osteoatritis without any significant joint space reduction?

There are studies done on medial wedge and lateral wedge for osteoarthritis of knee.Some of the studies and Cochrane Review supports use of wedge insoles
