Hi all,

i am a physio student who's doing clinical in hospital. As next week I will have an assessment which I have to take history and perform physical assessment to a client who had distal biceps tendon repair on 28/9/10. I would like to prepare something that can possibly occur to my client so that i wont freak out.

I know it's kinda stupid just to ask for answer, so I will say something that I think I can probably see on the client.

1. The patient will have pretty restriced ROM on his (L) elbow and possibly shoulder due to immobilisation in backslab at 90 degrees elbow flexion.

2. There can be some neuro signs due to operation can damage the median nerve?

3. Can the client also have problems on hand and fingers from immobilisation and operation?

Above are the things that I think I will see on this client. Please feel free to add anything that I missed. Much appreciated
