    Plantar Fasciitis help

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
    i have had Wikipedia reference-linkPlantar Fasciitis for 7 years ive done all the stretches used all the custom orthopedic devices also had the shockwave treatmeant, the injections and have had surgery and it hasent made a difference has any1 got advice? or any helpfull information?

    have you tried myofascial release? I went to a introductory course a few weeks ago and the guy that ran it said he's had excellent results with myofacial release for people with plantar fascitis, might be worth a try? Being a fascial problem after all!

    Have a search in your area to see if you can find someone (physio, osteopath, sports massage therapist) that has had myofascial release training.

    It's my "new thing" at the moment, it's fab!

    After completing the initial rest and recovery stage, you should adopt a holistic approach to treatment, attacking the injury from multiple angles.

    These include:

    * wearing special Wikipedia reference-linkplantar fasciitis shoes that protect and support the plantar fascia;
    * buying shoe orthotics to cushion the plantar fascia;
    * wearing plantar fasciitis night splints;
    * wearing a plantar fasciitis sock;
    * taping the plantar fascia;
    * plantar fascia massage; and
    * most importantly, strictly follow a structured stretching program.
