Simple, you move what isnt broken. you maintain muscles around what is. what is so confusing??????
Kindly have a look over some good textbooks recommded by your institution for detail about that. if you feel that the books are very extensive in detail to digest, then for you as a beginner I would recommed to have a look over following book for a concise review of physiotherapy management of fractures.
Cash's Textbook of Orthopaedic and Rheumatology for physiotherapists, 2nd Edition By Marian E.Tidswell.
hi buddy.... U can refer Essential Orthopaedics for Physiotherapists by John Ebeniser... this is a good book indeed for fracture managment
if u get any other books like this mail me buddy
wat are u confused bout.. Move the parts hat are fine, gradually strengthen and mobilise the parts broken.. tk care of complications and attain ur goals of ROM, Muscle strength and functional rehab of patient.. Just dont break the fracture site while its healing ..lol.. tc..
What's so confusing ? It's simple, move through restriction & maintain muscles around the joint. I thought these were pretty basics which is taught by the institution & by the time the student is an intern, he has seen enough cases to excel.!!!!
