I have a talar dome fracture that occurred about a year and a half ago while I was snowboarding. I landed weird in the terrain parkI know exactly where it is. It is on the shoulder of the talar dome on the tibial side and it is fairly large in size. I recently had surgery on it. It was an arthroscopic procedure and they did subchondral drilling. My ankle is still hurting in the same spot as before the surgery. Does anyone have experience with subchondral drilling? The surgery was 10 days ago. I was wondering how long it takes for the drilling to help? I just want my life back. I used to be a really active person. Now I can barely snowboard and anything involving running or jumping is out of the question. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!
