Exercises to strengthen after plantar fasciitis?
In August I got some plantar fasciitis (sore under the heel). It's now at a point where I can walk without pain after a program of stretching/massage/time.
I'm a rock climber and want to return to climbing, but it scares me because it puts a lot of strain on your foot - the foot must support your weight in all sorts of positions, most of the time with little support for itself.
Should I do some exercises to strengthen the bottom of my foot? What sorts of exercises? I was thinking of doing some wobbling on a Bosu board, but it seems so 'erratic' and I'm worried one wrong weight shift could put enough strain to injure the foot again.
Ideas?
