Hi,

I'm new here and thought somebody might be able to help me or give me a brief diagnosis over the internet as I dont have time to book an appt to see my local physio for a few weeks due to work commitments.

Basically, i've been battling with my weight for a few years and i've finally got down to a manageable weight that I can start exercising again.

For a month or two, i've been doing low impact exercise and the last 2 weeks, i've been i've started running, only for about 10 mins at the end of my trainign sessions but i've now started getting knee pain just below my kneecap.

I basically do 5000m Rowing (approx 20mins) then 30 mins on the Bike, and now i'm doing approx 10 mins running at about 9km/h

When I first started it, I was fine, but now i'm getting pain until just near the end of my 10 mins.

The main pain though is when I crouch, as I lower myself, just before I get to the bottom, my leg support completely goes and I have to support / stop myself with my hands.

Can anybody help ? Should I continue running and work through the pain or should I get this looked at properly and give the running a miss until I do ?

Thanks in advance,

Scott
