    Brief Medical History Overview

    Broken Leg/Damaged Ankle

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
I broke my leg on 08/07/2010 & spent 6 1/2 weeks in plaster. I had my cast removed & started physiotherapy straight away to strengthen my ankle.

I've been going to physio since the end of August & to be honest my ankle is still very painful. I was hoping to be playing football again by now so does anyone have any idea of how long it will take to fully recover or should i go back to the doctors to get it checked out?

what bone in your leg did you break? what part is tender? if tender, do you get long lasting pain even after pressure is taken off? any tingling sensation? does it look discolored and / or shiny? when do you get pain? when you bear weight on it? is the pain always there? what where the reports of the check x-ray...? how long were you partial weight bearing for if you ever were? do you get stiffness in the morning? if you do, how long does it last for? do you get pain at night? does the pain you feel disturb your sleep? how are you getting on with your strengthening exercises and weight bearing exercises? what are they and does anyone of them cause you pain...? do you still use a walking aid?

Can we have some detail on yourself, what you do and what your treatment has been so far?

Hope to hear from you soon
