    Brief Medical History Overview

    Swelling after 5 days

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
I have undergone a wrist surgery with K wires for right hand 5 days ago and in plaster now. From this morning onwards I feel swelling in the hand and a bit extra pain as well. What shall I do?

    Aircast Airselect Short Boot
Utilise elevation and icing in the meantime to help bring down the swelling if you are unable to see your doctor to get it checked out.
Monitor your temperature and ensure you don't have a fever - however if your on aspirin it may mask a fever. But just be cautious of post op infection, and get it checked out.
