    Brief Medical History Overview

    Recurring knee injury

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
I first injured my knee 2 or 3 years ago playing football, i went over on it awkwardly, heard a crunch and it quickly swelled up. Ever since this original injury it has flared up usually due to a twist ot turn. However the latest injury occured during a moderate jog, it started as a mild pain down the outside of my knee but quickly escalated to the point where i had to stop. There has been no real swelling and the movement in the joint has only been minorlly restricted. i have been doing numerous knee strengthening exercises but as soon as i try to jog the pain re occurs down the outside of the knee. Can any1 suggest what this could be or what i can do to help it? Cycling isnt painful though the joint does feel strange during the cycle

You never had it investigated originally aye?
Immediate swelling and the injury you mentioned makes me think it could have been a ACL rupture... which would explain why you have the condition recurring.
I'm not saying it is, but I definately think you need to go get it checked out.

    Cheers,
