Hi marj, thank you for the reply. I just wanted to do everything i can before spending money on a physio. I did some research on the illiotibial band and learned some knee anatomy. It seems that its actually the bicep femoris tendon(not 100% sure tho). In addition, i found that if i bend my knee with an externally rotated foot then the slipping/sliding of the tendon doesnt occur. And vice versa, if i bend my knee with a more internally rotated foot, the slipping becomes even more accentuated. Anything i can do before seeing a physio? Any strengthening or stretching?
