Hello,
Last March 30, I slipped down the stairs and acquired, based on my first x-ray report, a comminuted fracture involving the distal 3rd of the tibia. Yesterday, I had my third x-ray which states, old segmanted oblique fracture is seen in the distal 3rd of the left tibia with no callus formation noted.
I'm worried that my leg is not improving, and that I might undergo surgery for this. I've done my best during my month of rest to be as healthy as I can in my injured state (drank high calcium milk, took calcium supplements, vitamin c). Is bone callus formation in the leg usually take longer than a month before it is noted in x-ray?
