    Brief Medical History Overview

    Lateral Malleolus Fracture

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
    I fractured my lateral malleolus at the tip. My general doctor recommended a boot and limited weight bearing. Does that seem about right for a fracture like this?

    Aircast Airselect Short Boot
    That does seem about right. 4-6 weeks for it to heal providing their is a union in the position the foot is in when in the boot. Then begins the rehab to regain the confident and balance on the leg. The end result should be near 100% normal in most cases.
