    Sacroiliac joint i think ?

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
    Hi there,

Whilst at work at end of November, i was down low, shrink wrapping a small pallet. When i straightened up, it was met with like something went pop in my mid / left stomach, followed swiftly by a sharp pain which went from there, down to my left testicle.
Went to drive home - as soon as i pressed the clutch, my back seized up too.

Took next day off work - went to docs.

To cut a long story short, they thought it was a hernia and organised an ultrasound.

Waited till December 30th for it. Showed no hernia.

All this time i had been off work, still in pain.

Basically, at the doctors a few days ago, she said " oh, it must be a pulled muscle", sent me off with stronger painkillers and another sick note for work for a fortnight.

Getting really frustrated as i was searching online and stumbled across the Sacroiliac joint. Now, reading all about it, it seems blatantly obvious to me thats where my problems lie. Pain in left side of stomach, left side of groin, buttock and back.

Can someone please advice me as i have not even been offered physio by my gp. Ive been doing one excercise, the rolling lower abdomen one, but makes the pain even worse.

This is now my 7th week off work with this and they are starting to harrass me to return to work.

    Please help.

    Hi,
could also be coming from your lower spine.
As far as I know, there is direct access to Physio in Scotland = you do not need a referral to Physio, you an just go and self refer.
Although, I am not 100% certain about this.
Just give one of your local Physio clinics a call and ask.
    Good luck,
    regards,
    Fyzzio
