I went for physio on my knee about four hours ago and my knee is throbbing and it hurts to walk . I had ice and ultra sound done.

on contrary ,ice may be very suitable in your case , however you need rest and stop movment for 2 days espicially aggressive training .

I would definately say that it depends largely on you and your injury as physiobob has said. I would only go on what your physio has told you regarding movement. I would certainly speak to your physio next time you see him/her or just give them a ring...im sure they will put your mind at ease and give you advice specific to you and your injury.
