Hi folks...I'm MWM, 54 years of age, 215 lbs, good health, don't smoke, drink socially, work in a retail environment...

The problem is...horrible handwriting for several years (at one time diagnosed as focal Wikipedia reference-linkdystonia), loss of strength in hands, some balance issues while walking, constantly drop tools, very frustrated with fine motor skills like shaving, using a screwdriver, drinking a cup of coffee, eating.....I think you get the idea....

At my last annual physical, my regular doctor requested a cervical x-ray...which led to a cervical spine Wikipedia reference-linkMRI...which led to the following IMPRESSION:

"Wikipedia reference-linkSpondylosis changes in the cervical spine, most pronounced at C5-C6 and C6-C7 at which levels posterior disc bulging and degenerative uncovertebral spurring result in severe left-sided foraminal stenosis at C5-C6 and moderate bilateral foraminal stenosis at C6-C7. There is mild spinal canal stenosis at both levels."

I have a "neuro surgery consult" on MON.

What should I expect?
