clicking noise in hip

I am trying to reduce weight and doing exercises after a few years of sedentary lifestyle im 30 now. when i try to do exercises to do a few exercises like mountain climber or a burpee which involves squatting and then pushing my legs back to come to the push up position, i hear a click noise on my right side of my hip. there is no pain but it clicks with all exerciuses involving this movement. what is the problem and what should i do about it ? thankyou
