Hello Friends,
I just received the credential evaluation report from the alliance. It was a lengthy report however, mainly they highlighted following points:-
1) No sufficient credits in Psychology and need to cover some more.
2) No evidence of credits in research design / methodology in UG education.
3) No evidence of credits in autonomus practice / EBP / professional conduct, ethics and standards of practice / Principles of PT management and administration.
4) No evidence for education context of PT practice in Canada within Canadian health context.
They have found above said minor gaps in PT education from India and have asked to either submit evidence which would demonstrate that these gaps are covered in my prior education OR apply for PLAR program to fulfill them.
I am about to complete MSc from UK and for the alliance I have applied on basis of my BPT education (from India). In my MSc I think I have covered point no. 2 and 3 (as mentioned above).
After completing credentialing process does anybody know whether the alliance can now consider these two areas (from my MSc which I had not submitted early)? If so then I would be lacking in just 1st and 4th areas (as above).
Can you please advice me in this scenario what could be a probable option for me as my last date to reply alliance is 17 Jan 2012.
Many thanks,
Nikhil
