Hi,
Got an assignment to create a free exercise program for 3 different scenarios:
The first, an 80 year old lady, 10 weeks post Colles fracture to the right wrist. She has problems with power and key grips, wrist extensors are grade 4.
The second, a 70 year old man, dupytrens contracture on right and left, particularly ring and little fingers. Fixed flexion contractures in MCP, PIP and DIP joints of 45 degrees at each.
Previous physio has improved ROM, the aims are to maintain the condition and prevent worsening of the contracture.
The third, a 13 year old boy, 3rd,4th & 5th metacarpal fractures. Problems making a fist, extending fingers fully, fastening buttons on a shirt, drinking from a cup. Muscle power is reduced to grade 3.
I have a few ideas, but not enough to present with, so any ideas would be great appreciated!!
Thanks,
Megan
