    Knee injury

    Hey guys!
    as a basket ball player, i am in habit of getting knee injury. Or may be that is why because i am new to it. Its my first year playing. So what is the best way to recover from knee injury. tell me some thing other than rest

    It really depends on the injury BUT there are some general strengthening exercises you can do as a preventative: Check out Rehabilitate prevent perform physiofixme as there is a runner's knee programme on there which is typical of a general knee strengthening programme. This is my website so am open to feedback etc. Keep an eye on it as am putting up new info all the time!!!

    I would agree with the above. The type of exercise needed depends on the specific injury. I would caution not to only work quads and hamstrings. Work your hip muscles also. Inner and outer thigh muscles are often ingnored and are very important. Also incorporate balance activites into your routine.
