    Forearm pain with elbow flexion

    Hi

I have recently had a patient who complains of a sharp pain that he gets along his ulna when he does elbow flexion with weights.
he has been gymming vigorously of late and started developing this. it is a sharp, debilitating pain that eases the moment the weight is released.

is there anyone that can help me with this please?

    Taping
I'm not a physio but am basically doing 2nd year physio work as part of my course. Maybe the Ulna nerve is getting impinged somehow in elbow flexion? If he is hitting the gym hard he's going to be putting repetitive load onto not only the nerve but the structures around it.

I'm sure someone else who has more knowledge than me can give a better explanation.
