    Re: QL muscle

    Hi Jay
Have you been doing any stretches with him for his QL ? any in side lying or in standing? Is he experiencing the leg pain laterally? along ITB? or is it general?

    Re: QL muscle

    hi memgem,

His leg pain was down the hamstring, but when he came in he said its gone now, he has been doing Gray Cook's toe touch progression and leg lowering progression to regain his hip mobililty, maybe that hamstring pain may have been a little over exertion.

In terms of stretching, I told him he can try a few ways, stainding, on a swiss ball, he prefers child's pose stretch to one side. He came in the other say, a lot more improved, maybe he just needed a bit of time. It just seems odd though he took so long, and still his QL is a bit sore from the intial injury.

    Thanks,

    Jay
