Question advice on getting 457 visa sponsorship please

Advertise your physiotherapy job on Physiobob's Job
Has anyone been successful in gaining 457 sponsorship? I'd be grateful for some advice please - general tips would be great, info on best places to seek for work with 457 sponsorship options and also whether you were sponsored alone or with your family accompanying you. I am an experienced physiotherapist and I am already registered to work in Australia with AHPRA. thanks for any help you can offer.

HI, if you are already registered with AHPRA, I think your best bet is to apply for residency, that way you would be able to have a choice of employers and you can bring your family as well. Check out some of the physio agencies as most can offer sponsorship if you were wanting a 457 visa. Good luck

Re: advice on getting 457 visa sponsorship please

Unfortunately permanent residency is not an option for me. Having worked part time since having a family I get no points for experience which is very frustrating. May look at agencies but I had read that tdue to fees it is better to go directly to companies so was hoping someone might have experience of this. Thanks.

That's a bummer...check out employment websites like Seek.com.au sometimes they have ads there from practices or from agencies that offer 457 sponsorship.
