Hello, Abida
I took Written Exam in Jan2008 and Practical Exam in Jun2008
Some people suggested to use the NPTE materials from O'sullivan. I felt it was quite useful to quick-test your concepts but the questions are much more difficult than that in PCE
My experience told me that you need to be familiar with
1) " Classified" type questions
2) special tests for different joints and what are the positive findings
3) S/S & Diagnosis for some COMMON orthopaedic and neurological conditions
I also encounter 1-2 questions regarding to physiotherapy practice in Canada, BTW, they were quite simple

Hi Everyone,
I am a physiotherapist from Brazil and I am living in Vancouver. I just failedmy PCE Written component (Nov 1st), and I am applying for the one in March 7th.
I want to join a study group.
Pelase e-mail me at [email protected]
Thanks
Maria
Hi, mitch
My main references for PCE exam are
1) O'sullivan NPTE study guide ( I bought it online )
2) Magee Orthopaedic Assessment
3) Kisner and Colby for exercises and manual therapy guidelines
4) The lecture notes from my university
3) clinical oriented anatomy by Moore
Generally speaking, I only use the NPTE study guide, lecture notes and the textbooks I already had. There are so many SUGGESTED READINGS but it is not possible to buy all of them.
