Hello friends,
i would like to know anybody who can give me information regarding the newly immigrated physios in canada who need to give PCE exam. how they can and where they can get inital work and or what kind of work opportunity is available for them initially after coming to canada. kindly advise.
How to go about getting a job as a Physio assistant while waiting to pass the PCE? Seems like everyone is looking for Canadian experience! How do you get canadian experience when you've just landed as a new immigrant??? Help please
Additional Comment I forgot:
Hoe do you go about getting a physiotherapist assistant job while waiting to get your license? Everyone is asking for canadian experience. How do you get that when you're just a newly landed immigrant? Help please

Hello rewa14,
Thanks for your reply, regarding the pce there are two type first written exam secod is clinical exam if if you go to the www.alliancept.org you can get to know all the information regarding the pce,see faq, also if you serch the string right here on physiobob many people have spoken on it and also one of the person who has cleared his pce has given the vital information on it.
regarding the books try tosee as many books as posssible because what they are looking for is the entry level knowledge and the real life problem solving skill in the clinical setting and ethics and regulation.

Hi
I am a Physiotherapist from India. I am married and my wife is also a physiotherapist. i have a 2 year experience from a recognized institute. i am applying canadian PR card. i heard from somewhere that if anyone has 2 year experience in this feilds, there is no need to clear PCE. so can anyone guide me about all this. i really looking forward to settle in canada. please also help me out about the job possibilities in canada.
thank you....
Hey guys, If you have reached Canada, you will have gotten the answer to your question by now, if for some reason you still have not, then let me tell you, the info you got is a ton of crap!!! you could be a Physio with Masters deg from an American University, and have more than 20 years work experience , but Canada is Canada, You WILL have to sit through the PCE here. Best of Luck.,( P.S. If you got this info from you immigration agent, he is a real crook feeding you utter false information, stay away from him.)
