I have been through the registration process, having posted it off in October and been granted approval in April.

For the question on health care structure etc I wrote a short paragraph on the similarities between the NZ and UK health systems so I could reference my uk work experience, I also referred to a couple of articles and sites I'd looked at to get background on the NZ system. BUT I was then asked to provide a written reflective account of the info I'd read, so I had to write a short essay to prove I'd taken in what I'd read.

Make sure you cross reference your competencies to your evidence. The most useful piece of evidence you will have is your degree curriculum/course transcript. I refernced that in virtually every competency. I also used my job description from my nhs work alot.

Absolutely everything needs to be certified e.g. any presentations you have done to colleagues, they are quite particular.

Having spoken to several other people who have been through the process it is rare to get registration on first attempt. It is usual that they will contact you for further information, this means the process can drag out to a few months, but it is do-able so dont give up!

Good luck
