    Hi Hessa,

If you were able to buy Susan Sulivan's book "National Physical Therapy Examination" review and study guide, the first few pages would outline how exams are being done and the last part of the review guide are the sample questionnaires and answers.

Briefly, here's the content outline for NPTE:
    1. Assessment and evaluation: 24% or 48 questions
    2. Assessment and planning 22% or 44 questions
    3.Intervention-54% or 108 questions
    a.Preparation -20 questions
    b.Implementation-56 questions
    c.Education/Communication/Consultation-14 questions
    d.Supporting activities/ethihcs/Administration-16 questions
    e.System-specific procedures-12 questions

Each state will have different requirements. Some states will require the candidates to pass the exmaination concerning laws, rules and regulations governing physical therapy in that state which is called jurisprudence examination.

Test of English proficiency maybe required.

Kindly read on the book that I have mentioned above and you will understand more of its contents.

    Regards and goodluck

    Charlize

    Re: NPTE

    hi renukabhusari,
Please let us know in which state are you coming because many things depends on that, now for the common requirment of documnents you will be having all the copies of your marksheets(attested from US)
but first you know which Credentialising agency is required by your state than go to their website and follow the instructions.
In Later stages you will be needing many documents which should be posted to CE agency dirctly by your college itself.
The Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy is a common website, must be knowing...go through it !

    Best Wishes
    Pallavi
