I'm not sure you can say that someone with a degree in physiology is better suited to physio than someone with a MBBS. I think that in the future we are all going to have to accept much less of a clear boundary between professions, and this to me is a good thing. I think that physio has to adapt alongside other professions in order to survive. For instance, I would love to be able to inject steroids for severe muscular pain, but this is something at the moment only doctors and a few high level extended scope practitioners can do. I don't think that allowing other professions to do a fast track conversion to physio is a bad thing as long as standards are kept high. In the UK, I don't think there are many people converting to physio to make a quick buck! The job situation is pretty bad...
